Reviews and Comments
I was thrilled by reading "One Heart" today.
Indeed, it does have universality of appeal, especially when it reflects upon the hearts and minds of young readers. The illustrations deftly enrich the book's concepts. When it comes to children's literature, I believe Kimberly Diring and Marisa Kertscher are by all means the dynamic duo. - George Hillier Author of Uniquely Human Our five-year-old has been carrying this book around with her everywhere since it arrived in the mail. She loves to have us read it to her and we love the message it provides. One Heart celebrates the uniqueness of each individual and family while beautifully teaching that God's love binds us all together. As our children start to discover who they are and what their place in the world will be, it's a powerful message that we hope will sustain them along the way. - Kari and Greg Parents of two beautiful girls from China |
One Heart is a beautiful illustrated story about how God brings all kinds of families together and how He created us all, and as unique as we are, we all have a Heart that binds us together. It’s a great story for children (and adults!) My 5-year-old loves looking at the details in the pictures. The added “red thread” theme and the hidden hearts on every page was a fun touch to add to our story reading time together. It makes it different every time we read together. I highly recommend this book.
